At this year’s CES (Consumer Electronic Show), we were honored with Monster Cable’s E-Commerce Retailer of the Year. The other nominees were Amazon.com, Crutchfield, and Huppin’s One Call. We were pretty excited to have won! Following the awards, Al Jarreau and George Benson put on a pretty good concert. We were invited to the after party and got to meet both Benson & Jarreau as well as MC Hammer. It was a fun evening.

Yes! I can’t tell you how many stories I hear of people who have problems on their trip and do not have travel insurance. We (Quincy’s Discount Travel) always highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Read this top ten list on why to buy travel insurance from our insurance provider, Travelex Insurance.
My dad is going to Italy this summer and asked if he should spend the extra money on travel insurance. My basic response was that Radio Host, Clark Howard, is a self-titled “cheapskate” and that he highly recommends Travel Insurance:

These policies should always be purchased when you are taking a cruise, a tour or traveling on a trip that requires pre-payment of thousands of dollars.

(Whig.com) Leading a group of tourists from Quincy on an excursion to the Panama Canal earlier this year, Quincy’s Discount Travel Service owners Dennis and Susie Boudreau were never out of touch with their businesses in Quincy.
The Boudreaus, who also own Your Electronic Warehouse and Discount Golf World of Quincy, used an Internet-based technology that allowed them to call home and businesses whenever they wanted. It would have cost them $18 a minute to use the ship’s telephone. Instead, they paid a total of $10 [per half hour] to connect to the ship’s wireless Internet throughout the trip.
