Military taps `bugler’ supply

(chicagotribune.com) With too few musicians available to play for the rising number of military honors ceremonies, real buglers play at only a small percentage of military funerals. Instead, taps blares from a CD player or a device called a ceremonial bugle, which is a real bugle containing a battery-powered sound generator in the bell-shaped front of the instrument.
